Roberto Montelongo Romero
Csoftmty's vision of positioning Nuevo León as one of the world's leading providers of high value-added IT solutions and services is not a distant dream when we see that the cluster has succeeded in increasing the employment of engineers In this area, from 2 thousand to over 14 thousand; This is a 30 percent growth per year.
These thousands of jobs are distributed among more than 400 companies in the industry, which makes our state the best nearshore alternative in Latin America.
The Software Council of Nuevo León is the result of the alliance between universities, companies and government to drive innovation, economic growth and a better quality of life in the state.
We work to develop the market, human talent, innovation and industry infrastructure in information and communication technologies (ICT). We are well aware that we can only do this by creating conditions, opportunities and support for Cluster affiliated companies to develop and produce wealth and well-being.
Our Strategic Committees are key to meeting this challenge. That is why we have a Market Committee that proposes strategies to increase the turnover and positioning of the software industry; A Human Capital Committee responsible for developing more resources with sufficient skills to meet the demand of companies; And a Committee for Entrepreneurship and Innovation that promotes innovation in products and services that give it competitive advantages and good margins of utility to the State software industry.
Csoftmty is the first cluster created in the state and in August of 2014 it obtained the Bronze Certification under the global parameters of the Program of Excellence of Cluster Management, implemented by the European Secretariat in Cluster Analysis (ESCA).
It is a pride and a responsibility that motivates us towards excellence. It is not a challenge for anyone, but with the strength of the companies of Nuevo León that form our industry and our commitment we will make it possible.
